Many of us can get carried away with our feelings, worries and fears when bad things happen.
The way we think about things has a massive effect on what we attract into our lives.
Now just think for a moment, about your situation;

- How do you see yourself over the next decade?
- Are what you thinking and doing right now, going to help you shape what you want in your future?
Think about your life, your family, what you do for a living, where you will be living and how much money you will live off, all these things are driven from the thoughts and actions you have right now.
What we think and do right now, is important. What we think about and ruminate on tends to come right back to us. Dwell on what you want, take action and set your good intentions on what you want to achieve. Be positive, look forward, because what you want will come back to you!
As the things that we most love and fear the most tend to occupy our thoughts much of the time, we tend to attract those very things. If we focus on what we don’t want, we will attract what we don’t want. The more we think about our negative outcomes, the more attention and emotion we add to these thoughts, the stronger we feel our bad feelings. Think about what you do want and not so much about what you fear.
How do we get to be successful and lead a happy life?
Write your goals down on paper
Yes, it’s old fashioned and it takes longer than typing, I know. This method is fully recommended by the master of Goal Setting Mr Brian Tracy, so give it a go!
Know that there is something important that happens when we write down what we want by hand. If you pick up a pen and write want you want, this simple act automatically generates not only the law of attraction, but also an expectation in your mind. By writing the goals down you develop and strengthen your resolve that the goals are possible for you!
However, whatever it is that you want in life, bear in mind you have to PAY!
You have to pay for everything, whether you pay in money or pay by your time invested. So decide how much you are willing to give to your goal, what is the price that you will pay?
With that in mind consider what you will do to achieve that goal, will you need to add to your skills?
- Will you re-think where you are working? Who you are working with?
- Maybe you join networking groups?
- Perhaps you put yourself out there, be visible?
- Or maybe you sign up for for public speaking, live video sessions?
- Anything needed to make that vision work, anything required to bring that goal into reality.
It’s not just wishful thinking!
Develop the goal, write up every task, everything you can think of that will be needed to support that goal. Develop a plan, a checklist or project plan. Take action of some kind that supports the goal every day, even if it is sending only one email.
Whatever is required, cement it in your mind and Go for it! After all, it is worth the effort to get what you want.
Keep up the motivation, help your brain to see that you are taking the goal seriously. Your confidence in completing an action listed in your plan in itself triggers other possibilities which helps you through the other tasks in your plan. The more you do to achieve what you want the more this will draw you to other tasks and activities that you have not even considered yet.
If you continue to work on the tasks in your goals, without having any guarantees you will feel the benefits, you will feel that the plan is coming towards you.
As you become what you think about most of the time, be sure to control your thoughts and think about the things you want rather than the things you don’t want. Just keep your mind positive by accepting that life can be difficult and dealing with things in the best way you can, realise that criticising others, complaining and blaming doesn’t help.
Focus only what is important to you and what you can do right now to improve your life.

Only you can decide what you’re going to think and how you’re going to think about it. This power, this control is all you need to create a Wonderful life! for yourself, your ability to steer your thoughts towards the destination of your own choosing is sufficient to enable you to overcome all obstacles and make up for all limitations on your road to success.
The fact is that everything you ever achieve, you’re going to have to do it yourself. No one is going to do it for you. But if you keep learning and growing and trying lots of things you will eventually get the breaks.
