A person suffering from a phobia of some sort may often live with an anxiety disorder, whilst you may not come face to face with the phobia each day, in some circumstances just thinking about the phobia issue may cause palpitations and stress. 

You may also feel severe anxiety, panic, and nausea. You may experience sweating,  difficulty breathing, dizziness, unsure footing or even an upset stomach. Live can be challenging depending on how complexity of your phobia and the frequency you come in contact with the phobia.

A phobia is an overwhelming and paralysising fear of an object, place, situation, feeling or animal. Phobias are more intense than fears. Are your phobias causing anything from a panic attack to stopping and preventing you from being able to live your life as you wish? Often fears stem from past traumatic events and deeply held beliefs, often from a hurtful and painful time in life. If your phobias are making your life unbearable, making you feel so uncomfortable that you just want to go into hiding then it is time for A NEW SOLUTION!

We are not born with phobias. We are born with only two fears, that of being dropped and the fear of loud noises.
We develop phobias either from an incident or trauma. Alternatively, phobias can come into our life as a learned behaviour, where we pick up and acquire these feelings and reactions to the phobia from others around us. Often we learn and took on other people's fears so much so that they became our behaviour!

The fear of phobias is something that we can learn to overcome.

  • A lot of phobias are passed down. Phobic, anxious, nervy parents who are worried about germs will often have phobic, anxious nervous children.

  • When we are young children, we learn from our parents and adults how to respond and behave in situations.

  • Quite often a parent has passed down a behaviour, they respond by saying “I’m terrified of spiders,” or, “I hate heights” the child takes what the parent said as FACT. They will believe the parent is correct, they take on that behaviour and response.

Fears or phobias are really nothing more than an ability to deal with something, it’s never the fear, it’s the interpretation, the meaning, of how you respond.

  • Your mind forms an imprint about your experiences and these imprints remain as adults which can have a negative and dramatic effect on you when faced with the phobia.
  • Your ways of responding to a phobia often go back to when you were a young child. Young children’s minds cannot process logic and a pattern of behaviour can set in.
  • As a grownup adult, your feelings about your phobia can still belong to that five-year-old child.

Understand the root cause and reason for your phobia and how it started in you specifically

  • Your subconscious, your inner mind holds the key to understanding the root cause of your fear of the phobia.
  • Often we are not aware of why we developed a habit and behaviour pattern; we can get stuck and blocked.
  • We can talk about why we want to get rid of our phobias, but until we make a change at the root, subconscious level, we will simply revert to old, familiar patterns of behaviour, time and time again.
  • Picture the mind as an elastic band. It bounces back to what it knows, what is familiar, what it always goes back to. That same old way of responding to the phobia.

By understanding the origins of the phobia anxiety and identifying self-limiting beliefs, we work together to remove and re-frame your fears, failures and worries about the phobia. You learn how to reprogram your thoughts, and beliefs and regain your real inner confidence to be indifferent to and overcome your fears of phobias. 

Emotion will defeat logic every time – It is not possible to defeat emotion with logic, emotion is stronger and more powerful.

The emotion could be as simple as, “my phobia is hiding under my bed.”
You logically know that isn’t true but that does not make a difference.
Instead, change the thought to a better emotion, and go back to that little child. Go back in your mind to that little child, pick them up, and state, “You had every right to be scared of your phobia, however, the phobia does not exist in this house,” and just reassure the little child that it’s okay. And don’t feel bad for doing what you did at five, instead use a stronger emotion to talk yourself out of it and not logic.

The way you feel is in direct response to the pictures you imagine in your head and the words you say.

If you feel absolutely terrified about flying insects, and will not allow them anywhere near you, however you will be quite prepared to allow a ladybird or butterfly to land nearby or even on your finger. Why is this possible for you? What is the difference? 
The association in your mind with the ladybird or butterfly is positive, they look pretty, quite different to that of the other insects.

The mind takes a different picture, one where you can just observe and feel calm, no panic or fear is necessary for the ladybird or butterfly.

Your mind likes to go back to what is familiar and dislikes what is unfamiliar.

As a small child, a phobia can set-in if your parents strongly portray a fear of something. Made worse if the adult panics or screams when talking about the phobia. Perhaps the parent was afraid of the dentist, on all occasions the parent expressed severe anxiety to the point of palpitations  whenever experiencing toothache pain or at the thought of the dentist.   At this point, the young child understands,  this is how to behave with dental situations The child becomes terrified at a young age believea dentists are bad people, they make you feel bad and give you pain. They may even kill you. I might die in the chair.  

This belief formed a full-blown phobia in the child, set up by the fact that every time the parent complained of toothache they worried and panicked. As soon as the client identified where and why the fear started in them, they can then begin to put those feelings in the past realising that they reaction to the dentist was actually their parents fear.  

We are not born fearing heights, spiders, insects, dogs, cats, heights, small spaces, or crowded places. Our fears stem to the idea that it will kill me, but generally, these things won’t kill you. It’s your mindset. When we understand that the fear feelings are something we acquired something belonging to other people, we can decide to see the phobia in a different light, we can choose to think differently.

No one is born with fears. Babies aren’t scared of the snakes and sharks. Ask yourself, if I wasn’t born with this phobia, why do I have it?

What are the words you use around the phobia?

If you have a fear or phobia, look at the words you say about it. What do you say to yourself when you think about the phobia? Do your words increase your sense of panic and fear? “Whenever I think about an airplane I just know that I am going to die, it will crash! I can’t fly”.  Each time you think about flying in a plane the thoughts of death and destruction come to you.

By changing these words and the pictures in the mind it is possible to make a different choice. You can think that you will have a 2 hour journey to relax and watch a movie, feel calm and chill out, listen to music or a podcast, time for yourself. It’s easy, nothing for you to do other than relax and feel peaceful. Feel in control of your thoughts.

We can’t control the weather, or the traffic, we cannot control our bodies, if we could we would not allow ourselves to have migraines or colds. However, the one thing we can control is our thoughts and our corresponding feelings about our fears.

Through your session, we work to give you tools to enable you to take control of your thoughts to have a more positive and calmer thought process for your responses and reactions to the situation yoy are in.

We first identify where the phobia came from. We then look into the words and pictures that you are saying to yourself about the phobia. We then look to finding new words and new pictures more appropriate for who you are now. We install a new language and new images to help you realise that it is possible to overcome fear or phobia.

We look at your phobia problem now and what you want instead?

We first understand the problem that you have now and also what it is that you are looking for as your outcome, your success, when you have overcome your phobia
  • By accessing the subconscious mind, we work together to pinpoint how that phobia came into your life.
  • Once we have identified and questioned the events in life that have contributed to the feelings that enabled the phobia we will then work with your subconscious mind to retrain and reprogramme the mind to let go of the phobia.
  • We work together to give the mind answers as to why these feelings remain, we give clients a new language, a new mental thought process so that they can leave the phobia in the past.
  • We teach the mind a new habit, and a new behaviour and strengthen willpower to take control of our mind and actions.
  • The hypnosis will allow you to access your subconscious mind so that positive changes can enable you to live the life you want to live, right now.
  • We look at the pictures you make in your head and the words you say to yourself.
  • Clients make remarkable changes and get rid of the phobia feelings that was causing so much worry and anxiety
  • Your hypnosis session and hypnosis audio will be specific to you and will provide guidance and instructions to rewire and reprogramme the worries, fears and blocks that your conscious thinking and logical mind cannot access.

As you relax during the session, you will be accessing the subconscious part of your mind.

Your logical and thinking part of the mind will take a back seat and almost shut down to allow the subconscious mind to let in positive thoughts and suggestions, introducing new ideas that fit with how you want to live your life.

What does this session cost?

For a single bespoke 2-hour session including all support and 1 hour of follow-up calls follow up as listed above, only £105 per hour
If further sessions are required and booked within the following 6 weeks after the session, are priced are £95 per hour.

The process and how it all works

Firstly, we arrange a short phone call to discuss the Fears or Phobias – Mindset Transformation Programme!
If you choose to go ahead….

  • You complete a small questionnaire about your situation and your goals and what you want in your life
  • We agree a suitable day/time for both parties for your session
  • Together we complete your 2-hour transformational Fears or Phobias – Mindset Transformation Programme!  Hypnosis Session
  • You listen to your bespoke audio recording daily for 21 days
  • We follow up via support calls on days 3, 7, 14
  • Together we review your tracked progress, so you understand how you have progressed since the start of our work together
  • We complete with a Zoom video review call on day 21.


Following our short call and the completion of the questionnaire we can look to book in our first zoom meeting in roughly in 7- 10 days in advance, depending on our schedules.

How will we do the session? 

At this point in time the session is available only online, using either Zoom, Skype, FaceTime or WhatsApp video.
An online video platform is required as it is important to see each other.
